“Fun time!”

Wisconsin Deer Park
Certificate of Excellence

It was fun to see all of the animals! Even though it was crowded, we were still able to see and feed all of the available animals (who were well-behaved). The entrance fee and food for the animals was fairly cheap inexpensive. It was a good time!

If you have young children you might want to see this attraction. However, I don't think teenagers or young adults would think it is worth the price. The best way to describe it would be to say it's a very large petting zoo consisting mainly of wild deer. Depending on the time of day depends on how many deer will come from behind their barriers and up for a cracker. We went early in the day so the deer were hungry and eager to beg for crackers. This holds true during the summer months when Wisconsin Dells is bustling with lots of tourists. However, if you go during their off season you don't have to worry so much about the time of your visit. There is also a section of farm animals...goats, chickens and such you can feed your crackers. Our grandchildren LOVED this attraction. They were aged 5 & 6 at the time. We got some wonderful pictures of them surrounded by the deer.

We visited on a cold October sunday. The park was mostly devoid of people but had plenty of deer. Paying for admission for 2 adults, a toddler, and a pack of crackers for the deer came to $26. We moved through the park quick due to being cold, but were back out the door in 40 minutes. Don't get me wrong, feeding and petting the deer was fun for the whole family but it felt a bit overpriced.

Really expensive for what it is. Kids had fun feeding the deer but there were only about 5 different ones That came to us. I could've spent $44 for 2 Kids And 2 adults a different way!

it is OK...if you haven't grown up with deer in the backyard.. It's fun for kids and families I guess as the kids can pet them but deer are wild animals.
