Owner description: Wizard Quest is the leader in computer interactive games played in a live setting. The setting is a 13000 square foot fantasy, themed labrynth (we call it the quadrasphere). Your quest is to free or freeze a wizard. To do this you must find answers to riddles and questions that are given to you on your "skrindle". The answers are found in the realms...Some hidden, some obvious and some not so obvious. The quadrashpere is full of secret passages, hidden entrances, a ball pit and a mirror maze.
Useful Information: Activities for older children

“Ages in 20s and we loved it”

I went here with three other friends all in our twenties and it was actually one of our favorite parts of our vacation. Everything about it was awesome.

There were only two negatives. One was littler kids (so you might want to consider going later at night), and the other was one girl showed us something that spoiled one of the secrets.

I would definetly recommend Wizard Quest to anyone.

“Ideal for families with children -- Not for older adults”
Reviewed September 7, 2012

We chose this attraction as part of the passport to savings ( http://www.passporttosavings.com), which I would recommend. As two couples in our thirties, we chose to do the "Advanced" game. The instructional video was not very helpful, so having no background understanding of the game, it took us about 30 minutes to figure out exactly what we were supposed to do. However, we did finish within the goal of 90 minutes after we understood it. Some of the activities involve crawling in tight spaces, so if we return we will bring the kids!! Choose the "apprentice" version of the game for younger kids.

“Great time for kids”
Reviewed September 7, 2012

Our kids absolutely LOVED Wizard Quest. It was difficult to get them to leave as they could've gone on forever discovering clues and freeing wizards. Friendly customer service.

“Gets a 5 for originality alone”
Reviewed September 5, 2012

Yeah, I could mark it down because it was a little tired and run down. It should have been bigger, and some areas really needed some additions, but this was such a great idea and we had a blast. Well, most of us did.

This is a large building decorated into 4 sections, Earth, Air, Fire and Water. You have to find the four wizards, one from each area.

Pros: Figuring out where the wizards are, finding all the areas to look.
Nice visuals in some areas
Different concept

Cons: A little worn
A little small
They don't tell you you can be more than one team
The workers seem really bored.

When you pay, the person at the front tells you to think of a team name, making you think that your whole group HAS to be one team. Well, you don't. And in our case, we shouldn't have been. You get funneled into a room with books and the rules are explained to you. Four of us got it, no problem. One did not. This person is not unintelligent, you just cannot explain things that quickly for him and expect him to "get it." He also would not allow anyone to explain it to him, so that was his fault. You get funneled out into the "realm". Way cool to look at. You are in the Air realm and there are some slides you can slide down, but you have no idea where you are. And there is a sign that tells you to go down the stairs and register. Hint: look around before registering. Pay attention to what the employee who registers you says. Once you register, you have 90 minutes to find all four wizards. If you have one person who didn't "get it", it will take you much longer than that to complete, and you lose your ability to input answers and find wizards when 90 minutes is up. You can still look around and take pictures. You get discounts at the store for finding wizards, bigger discounts the more wizards you find, so even if you only find one, you get a little discount.

Also, once you are downstairs, you kind of want to start there. I would suggest going back upstairs and starting there.

Lots of fun, secret passageways and the wizards get moved from time to time, so you could go several times and it will be a little different (not much, though), Don't go when it is crowded (we went on a Monday day in August-perfect. Let the people who didn't "get it" go in their own group. Or alone. But if you are in the area, go at least once. There are discount tickets all over, just ask around.

“Family Trip”
Reviewed September 4, 2012

This one surprised me. Was looking for something the family could do together and thought this sounded like a live action video game. Since our 14 and 15 year old kids are into gaming figured this was perfect and it was better than I imagined. We had a blast and completed the "easy" game as a team. Outstanding value for the money.
