We stayed at Glacier Canyon Lodge, part of the Wilderness Resort, over spring break this year. Arriving three hours earlier than check-in time, we were please that our room was already available. We chose Glacier Canyon because we wanted a "condo-style" room that included a full kitchen and multiple bedrooms to accomodate our family with the walkable distance to an indoor water park. With this facility we had it all - including access to 3 huge indoor water parks. We have three kids ranging in age from 2.5 - 8 years; there was something for everyone. The walk to the water parks was long; in hind sight we would have brought a small stroller for our toddler, but he did fine (other than when it was time to walk back in the evening, he wanted to be carried). I was especially impressed by the lifeguards in the kids areas; we were pulled aside on more than one occassion to let us know that it was okay for our younger kids to ride with us on waterslides that we probably would not have gone on otherwise. Our 2.5 year old even went down the big family raft rides! Also very impressed with the quick response time of the guards in the Wild Water Dome (wave pool). On more than one occassion they jumped in to assist someone who had fallen off their tube and appeared to be struggling. On the bumper boats, a man lost his sunglasses in the pool and the lifeguard jumped into the water to retrieve them for him. Again, very impressed! Purchasing the Fun Passes is a must! If you purchase at time of reservation, there was a deal when you purchased multiple ones. Well worth the money invested. Our family of five ate for about $40-$50 per meal when we utilized the restaurants. Enjoyed the burgers at Survivors and the Thirsty Buffalo. Not overly impressed with the Wild Canyon Cafe's buffet. It may have been because it was late in the evening (towards closing time). Even though the kids ate free, it was our most expensive meal. Can't wait to go back next year!

Room Tip: If staying in the Wilderness Resort, request a room on a floor other than second. That is the main walking path to and from all the activities so I would imagine it is not very relaxing to sleep (unless you have earplugs!). In Glacier Lodge, we were on the second floor and had no problem with noise.

Beautiful suite perfect to share with families! Our suite had a nice full kitchen, roomy living room with sofa and chairs and dining room with table and chairs. These areas were common grounds for visiting and/or to relax. Private bedrooms to retreat to at the end of the night. Fridge to bring your own snacks and drinks. Comfortable and clean. Very pleased with our stay. Plenty of room for 5 adults, 2 children, and a toddler. Requested a Pack and Play for toddler in which was promptly brought to our room and waiting after a long day at the wonderful waterparks of adjoining Wilderness. The Wilderness has 3 indoor waterparks as well as outdoor. Indoor waterparks include lazy river, child play area, wave pool/suntan room, body slides, and a couple thrill water slides. Laser tag, 3D mini golf, haunted house, ball play area, ropes course, arcade, and restaurants. Great stay!

This was our second visit to Glacier Canyon Lodge. We stayed in a two bedroom suite and were very pleased. The room was clean, well stocked (even had a muffin tin that we needed) and spacious. The kids loved the bunk bed and we like that we can have some adult time after they went to sleep. The waterpark areas are a bit of a walk, but after a few trips it didn't seem that bad. There are many water slide choices and because we stayed midweek, we rarely had to wait more than a few minutes for any slide. Everything is easy to get to and family oriented. The kids especially liked the ropes course and bumper boats which were both new since the last time we visited. Overall we would definitely recommend a stay at Glacier and will return.

We just returned from a two night stay. Our two bedroom room was ready shortly after we arrived. The pack and play crib was in the room but when I called about a high chair we were told they did not have them. This significantly affected our stay with a 14 month old who is not stable enough to sit at the bar height table or breakfast counter stools. The sofa was frayed at the edges and starting to look a bit shabby but otherwise everything was clean and in working order. Our two requests to housekeeping were handled very quickly. The waterparks were busy but we were able to find tables near the toddler features. We enjoyed our stay and might return depending on prices.

My family and I stayed at a two bedroom room, and it was comfortable! It had more space than I thought it would, and the beds were nice. My only complaint would be that the pizza pan we used still had some sticky tag on it, and it was really gross. I couldn't really get it off the pan too :I

It took forever to walk to the parks, and we got lost more than once, but it was exercise. Definitely more exercise than I would've gotten if I stayed home instead.

A wonderful experience! Would recommend!
