We stopped in for a few drinks and chatted with the bartender and other patrons. Had a great time comparing notes with the bartender as we are both "beer snobs". The wife then started a conversation with the couple across from us about the food here. They gave a glowing review so we decided to check out them out.
We came back the next day around 11 am and grabbed a table. This restaurant is HUGE. The buffet included soup, salad, and pizza bar. The salad bar choices are above average with veggies and toppings. They had 2 types of soup on hand. The pizza bar selection is where they shone. They had at least a dozen different types of pie out including a couple of dessert ones. They also have a full menu you can order from as well. We saw an order of broasted chicken that looked freaking amazing but unfortunately was not on the buffet.
Only complaint I had was the pizza wasn't always hot. There were a few that were barely warm so that would be an area to work on.
Other than that the food was tasty and definitely worth another look when I head back to the Dells.
