“not worth it”

We choose the cheaper route and stayed in one of the off site village, very very very disappointed beds were loud, and uncomfortable, no onsite staff really at all in this hotel, walls were paper thin you could hear the heard of elephants in room next to us! Now to the water park, water was freezing!!!!!!!!!! There were several children plus my own that had blue lips cause it was cold. My children are 5,3,2!!!! They wouldn't let anyone under 6 in the hot tub and only a few people at a time!!!!! Staff was rude and ran over the kids several times!!! The worst part was the kiddy pool area was the coldest you think with small children it would be warmer then the other pools!!!!!! Will not go back to the hotel will go back for the outdoor theme park and here water park.

Extremely disappointed! Staff was rude, customer service didn't exist. The whole time we were here, there were maybe 3 staff members that showed any type of personality. Most of the staff showed no personality and acted like if you had a question that it was a sin or something. I would never waste my money like this again. For what we paid a night, we would have been better off at a Motel 6!

“Save Your Money”
Reviewed March 11, 2013

My girlfriend and I went here around Valentines Day. We booked into the village because we were are both in are early 20's, so we didn't need to be around everything. We ended up getting put in the hotel across the street from the upside down building. A good hike from Rome. There was no supervision at this place which kind of scared me safety wise. The first thing that we noticed was the overpowering scent (strong potpourri) that was in this hotel. It smelled so bad we actually went to Walmart and bought some air scents which only masked the smell for a little while. We had a room with a random door so I pulled on it and it opened up a into a balcony overlooking the out of order pool area. It was kind of creepy actually. I assumed we werent supposed to see that since the door had a lock on the other side being held down with tape. Oops. The room in general wasnt anything special but wasn't too bad at the same time. It was however real outdated. Being far away and it being cold out we actually didn't muster up the courage to go too the Waterpark. We only stayed one night but the strong scent gave me a sore throat, so wasn't thrilled about that. Again, since we are young..just took the live and learn approach. Wont be staying here again nor would I suggest it.

“Winter getaway”
Reviewed March 11, 2013

We had fun here, but just not too much to do in the winter, I imagine this would be a much better place to stay in warmer months! We did really enjoy the indoor theme park.
