The growth at this place blows me away... It has it 'all' I would suggest for "Tweens" the options are awesome and the parents still have the option to relax. Personally, I can ride in the big wave pool all day or sit watch the wipeouts... Zeus is as good as any wood coaster not at Cedar Point.

We stayed at the Atlantis Waterpark for one night only with 2 children 8 and 9. Our room was located in the main building, a short inside walk from the waterpark.
The room itself was fine. 2 queen beds and a bunk bed. The room and bathroom were clean and comfortable. For a short stay this room would work for a small family. I'm not sure it would be suitable for a week long vacation. After a few days it would seem a bit claustrophobic.
The waterpark was nice for kids 12 and under. Older children would soon be bored. Compared to other waterparks we have visited this one was small and compact. There were a total of 5 slides, a kiddie pool, 2 whirlpools and a lazy river. With its small size, we felt comfortable enough letting the children roam free for the most part, while we kept an eye on them from a distance. They could never get too far away and the slides were no too extreme for their age group.
The "indoor theme park" was by far the most disappointing part of it all. 1 mouse coaster, an arcade, a climbing wall you had to pay extra for, 2 kid rides and bumper cars. Not really what I would call a "theme park". To paraphrase the kids as we walked out: "'Theme' park? Maybe if the theme was 'lame'".
Vacationers beware:
As we explored some of the area around the hotel, we noticed the "resort" has several remote blocks of rooms. It looks like the company bought a few old hotels and turned them into extra rooms for the resort. If you end up in one of those buildings, you are NOT within walking distance from ANYTHING Atlantis related. You will end up driving to the main park and driving to the hotel afterwards. I know if I would end up in a remote location room, I would be asking to be relocated to the main building. After all, most people stay at a resort like this for the convenience of having every attraction at your fingertips.
We did not do much in the outdoor theme park as most of it was closed. We went there over the Halloween weekend. It was too cold for coasters and go carts, but I know from other trips there that the outdoor theme park is a blast. If you like wooden roller coasters, this is the place to be. With its multiple go cart tracks, if there's a speed freak in the family, this is the place to be.

The park is great since they expanded to include go-karts and water rides together. We usually make a day of it and try to get in as much as we can. One of the best wave pools (Poseidon's Rage) and fun go-kart tracks. The only complaint is that the go-kart lines are always so long.

Lots to do! Had an amazing time, although a bit crowded. The food was good as well. We are a young family so it was great that it catered to all ages. It is on a strip of many theme parks, so you have lots to choose from.

Got there maybe 15 minutes after opening and ALL the chairs were taken. The worst part about that was that no one was using the chairs at all, they just sat their stuff on them and walked away. People should utilize the lockers for a storage area instead of chairs for those of us who would like to sit down and tan. When we laid our stuff out on the lawn (we stayed nearby), someone shoved all our stuff over in a pile and then layed out in our space. Drinks were so crazy-expensive too. I'd rather pay and go to a different park next time, this park is just not worth the hassle. It was worse than Walmart on payday! Plus, the rides weren't that fun and the lines were long. Go to a different park, it's worth finding a coupon and paying the admission fee.
