“Great old standby”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed November 18, 2012

Monk's has the feel of a typical Wisconsin bar, but their food is a cut above, and always reliable, as is their service. It seems to be all my local friends favorite lunch spot in the Dells, maybe because they can have a beer too, or maybe it's the feel of an old established bar populated by locals, with decades old photos of the Dells.

“A Nice One Day Getaway”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 7, 2012

My wife and I took the day and drove down to the Wisconsin Dells just for a burger and cheese curds. Just Kidding. We also shopped for 6hrs too.
Although we stopped at Monk's at 11am the place was already crowded. We found one of the last remaining tables on the main floor and soon were greeted by our server. After taking our order we soon enjoying our drinks and soon thereafter our cheese curds followed by our burgers. Everything was great, hot and served fast!!

“The Flashy Monks”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed November 1, 2012

This Monks is much more flashy than the one in Baraboo. I am sure some people would like it more... others less. They have the same great food and homemade chips, but this is much more of a "chain resturant" than Baraboo location

“Great Burgers”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 23, 2012

We stopped by for a start of a Friday Night. Great atmosphere, place was packed even on the off-season. Cold Spotted Cow (Wisconsin's finest) on Tap and huge burgers. I got the double cheeese burger and couldn't even finish it. The basket of fries could have fed a familly. barkeeps were freindly & attentive, kept our beers full.

What a great time. A must for Wisconsin Dells, and away from the chains.
