My husband and I recently stayed in room 76, a king whirlpool room, for a couple nights. It was clean, well maintained, and reasonably priced. It looked like the bathroom was recently upgraded, with a nice tile shower surround and the sink hardware was very modern. I'm not sure how a previous reviewer received shampoo and shower gel--we had a single bar of soap and a makeup remover cloth in the room when we checked in. I bring my own toiletries with me when I go on vacation, but my husband had assumed there would be at least two bars of soap (one for the sink, one for the shower). I'm sure if we had asked for another bar of soap, it would have been provided. Another suggestion is for the hotel to provide a couple additional towels near the room's whirlpool. We don't mind re-using towels (reduce, reuse, etc), but even an additional towel to place on the floor would have been great and would start to give the room the "spa feel" I think the owners are aiming for. Also, some of the games in the game room don't accept the lightweight US state quarters. Instead, they only accept the older, slightly heavier quarters. We would have spent much more time and money in the game room if the games accepted the quarters we had. The woman who works at the front desk was very nice and friendly,...More
