“2013 Vacation”
Reviewed August 12, 2013

Always a fun time, a new Quest was created which was great since we already finished the first quest when we stayed at Great Wolf last year.

“Good for kids”
Reviewed August 12, 2013

This is a good place for young kids to run and play. The adventures are easy and kids seem to really enjoy them. It is fun and very interactive. Kids love it.

“13 year old LOVES MagiQuest”
Reviewed July 28, 2013

While in the Dells area, we went to this location, as the Mall of America location has now closed. My daughter (age 13) already had her wand, so the cost was only $11.99 to play all day. She played for a few hours in the afternoon, and then we went back in the evening until closing at 11PM. Later evening was nice, as the it was an older group of kids playing. The 4 levels were exciting, the staff were helpful, and the parking was easy. My daughter also did Wizard Quest, but liked MagiQuest better. We will be back next year!

“For an 11 and 16 year old”
Reviewed July 22, 2013

We bought one wand as a family and proceeded on our quests. They were fun and engaging for everyone. One wand and activation kept the kids busy for hours. Where else can you get a tween and teen to get along.

“Wizard Puzzles”
Reviewed July 22, 2013

The up front costs for the required wands and entrance fee is a little high, but with the right kind of kid, this could be a small price for hours (days?) of fun. The premise is that you are a student magician that has to unlock the different spells by solving puzzle quests. These quests could be as simple as "point wand at silver book" that is right next to you, to more complex, multi-floor tasks that involve some sleuthing, a bit of running around and hunting for objects in the building.

The quest book we had took a 2-3 hours to complete, but there were a few snags. A couple of the quests could not be completed (the items you point your wand at to activate or mark as found would not work), the wands didn't always work and some of the quests could only be completed by guests of the Great Wolf Lodge (this building is part of that hotel).

I think if we were a member of the hotel, we probably would have gotten more out of it (i.e. completed some of the larger "adventures") but by the end of a few hours, we were all tired and ready to move on. The kids were playing "Harry Potter" for the next few days with the wands so they enjoyed it even after we left.
