This was the first resort we ever stayed at in Wisconsin Dells. After scouring the reviews, we decided that it looked the most modern with the best attractions in the waterpark. We tend to travel to this area mostly in the colder months. During the summer, we have plenty going on, but in the winter- we all get cabin fever and this is a great Resort town with plenty to do inside if you like the water :)

Even when we choose not to stay here, we always pay the day pass and visit the waterpark. My son is 4 and loves the water. However, many of the other indoor waterparks have very little to offer toddlers. And mine isn't afraid- he wants to do it all! This is the only place that keeps him occupied and feeling included- there is so much that we can all do together!
The 'toilet bowl' ride is soooo fun and unlike anything else. Very scary- but very cool! They also have 2 body slides and 2 tube slides at the top of the same staircase. We also love the 'water coaster' and the big yellow family raft ride. The wave pool is huge and nice. The lazy river is vast and branches out. They also have one of those 'wave riders' that let you pretend to surf. We have never tried it, but everyone else seemed to like it!
There are at least 3 kid areas (that I can recall) with many actual slides for kids only. Some very small for the timid or tiny kids- and others geared more for 6-10 (my guess only) but these are the ones my son loves!
There is lots of seating, and lots of towels. There is access to food, changing rooms, rest rooms etc. There are also lockers, but we have never used them, we are always fine leaving our stuff on our chairs.

Overall- if you have kids that love the water parks, but have a hard time finding one that has much for them- this is your place! And if you have no kids, and you want adult indoor water attractions- this is your place too!

We have 2 toddlers, and this is the best indoor waterpark we have discovered for them. My four year old son knows the Kalahari theme song by heart and loves this place!

It was cold during our stay and this was a life saver. My son had a wonderful time in the waterpark and was thrilled with what they offered. I sat outside and read and they enjoyed.
the room has a strong chlorine smell. The life gaurds were very attentive and alert. Had a rum runner with a floater and it cost $9.00. That is about right for one of these kinds of places. We enjoyed it. We got our tickets for 25.00 through our hotel at a discount.

After spending a terrible day at Mt. Olympus and breaking my arm in their locker room, Kalahari was SUPER great a refunding us because we had to leave short of our stay due to driving home to the ER. Now that to me is great service, a place where they care more about the customer than profits!!!

This is the third trip to wisconsin dells and all three times, i've stayed at the kalahari. This is the first time we went when the outdoor water park was open. However two of the main attractions outside were shut down for some reason and 3 of the main attractions were shut down or broken!!!!!!! last time we stayed one of the main atttactions was also broken!!! In our hotel room, the bathroom light didnt work, the door didnt lock, and another major light was burt out!!!! Never had this many problems here before but not sure if this will be the resort for me next time. Another note, talked to a manager about all the issues, said he would try to figure something out for compensation and never heard back from him!!!!!
