“Wonderful food and service in the dells”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed November 3, 2013

It is sometimes difficult to find both good and affordable food in the WI Dells. This place has them both. Will defintely return. Had food for adults and the kids menu was vast and portions good size.

“Lots of brewpub brews, menu choices, burgers”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 29, 2013

Another of our lets try someplace different this time choices. We were going to try their Middleton , Wi. Location a few weeks back, but had others with us. This time we were on our own, so, it being on a Sunday, and, the off season,we gave it a shot. This location is probably in decor very similar to the others, has separate bar from dining, and many booths as well as a n assortment of tables. We have been to the Sprecher tasting room in Glendale, near Milwaukee, in search of their hard root beer, only to find they didn't sell it. On our visit here, we find the Hard Root Beer! Yay! We had two bottles, and it is an alcohol-pop, 5.%abv,an adult root brew, delicious. They are now selling bottles to go, and we took home a four pack. Same price as on the menu. My wife and I split an order of deep fried cheese curds, and they were fresh made and very good, As we weren't counting calories at this visit. We ordered the Sconnie ,a brat patty and a hamburger on a pretzel bun, cheese and sautéed onions, also very good, we were hungry and finished both, and had enough to last us the rest of the day with no meal, we also topped it off with a slice of chocolate cake/torte with two forks. I was interested in one of their special brews, a bourbon barrel aged beer, and it was at 10% abv, a potent beer, malty! (I , in hindsight didn't need it, but I did finish it, a large bottle. And at $16/ a pop, a real special occasion beer!! )
Our waitress must have been very experienced, as she did the"shoulder touch "to me three or four times when taking our order and serving. This is a body language ploy to get a bigger tip from the customer, amusing, when you know what it is intended for. She did a. Great job of attending us, it being a slow Sunday for an October when the watermarks are closed. The place was not very busy, but I hope they will stay open year round. Our food buyer order with the app, around $30, What shot the tab up was the drinks, pushing it up to $75, Bam!
But if you can't afford these prices, There's always balcony sandwiches and ,,, and stay home!
This place is situated in the Dells , folks, and the menu is priced for the week long vacationers with their kids, I'm sure they can rake in enough to cover the slow season, and hire on extra help for the summer, like all the others . You spends what you can afford.
One note, the restrooms are down one floor, via an elevator, and I noticed a passage to the hotel next door. There was a stairway next to the elevator(ADA compliance regs). Took me a bit to get down there, but it was very clean. We'll stop by again, to try some of their German type dishes. And maybe just a few of their regular brews, to price the bill down a bit!! Don't know if they do carry out, check out their website for those details.

“Wonderful dinner in the Dells”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 28, 2013 via mobile

We just ate at Sprechers and it definitely lived up to the reviews! What an eclectic menu and it was all very tasty. I had the jambalaya which was delicious- just right on the spice level and lots of big well-cooked shrimp, chicken and sausage. My husband enjoyed the German offerings of spetzel and my daughter ate the Mac and cheese (which was the only slight disappointment as it looked like Kraft- she liked it at any rate). Wish we were local instead of visiting so we could go back on a regular basis.

“Go for the beer and soda”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 20, 2013

It's a pub, which means the food is bar food, which means it's okay but nothing special. The steak sandwich was okay, as was the Reuben. The onion rings were better than average and the beer cheese soup had more beer than cheese. The real attraction is the variety of beers as Sprechers is a brewery, after all. They also brew their own sodas and the ones we sampled were pretty good. Puma Kola, anyone?

“Burgers for lunch!”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 19, 2013

The burgers were very tasty, topped with lots of yummies. I enjoyed an orange soda with my meal. A little pricey for lunch, but we were all hungry and left quite stuffed! Recommend.
