“Perfect location with great facilities”

This campground was perfect. The pool and splash pad were perfect for the kids and the water was heated. The staff were very pleasant and helpful. Restroom and shower facilities were clean and in very nice condition. The movie pavilion was a nice touch too. My buddy and I each took our kids and camped in one of the RV pull through sites. Close to everything and our kids had a blast. The train tracks are close but didn't bother us at all. This campground is the reason we choose KOA.

Room Tip: The RV pull through sites are a little extra but well worth it. Directly across from the pool, play...

This was the best campground I have been so far. We were here for the Memorial Weekend 2013. First, the staff is very friendly and they bring you to your campsite. We had 2 sites next to each other, one with electric and one without (5 adults and 3 kids). It was spacious and close to be bathrooms. The bathrooms was very clean. I like the fact that they are individual and private rooms. There are plenty of hooks and a bench for your personal items. Each site has a fire pit, but they also have propane grill that you can use and outdoor sinks to wash your stuff. It was a cool weekend, so it was nice that the pool is heated so the kids was still able to swim. There is also a splash pad next to it. We checked out the cabins if tent camping is not your thing. Those were pretty spacious and clean too. The only downside is that it gets pretty loud when the freight trains passes by, but I can easily ignore that. I would definitely come back to this campground.

We stayed here mid-July 2012 and it was VERY hot! We were at the top of the hill and were right by where the train went by but with 4 boys, the extra noise didn't bother us!

Friends from Illinois came and camped with us for a night and the campground was able to get them a site right across from us. We found them to be most helpful in the office and we got a kick out of the comraderie and jovial natures of the two guys riding around on the golf carts. Everyone was most helpful.

The campground was nice and everyone loved the pool area. Only complaint would be the ankle deep black sand at our site - was terrible to walk through and kept everyones feet super dirty... but we're camping, not a biggie! Not sure if this is normal or just because it was so dry at the time?!

This campground is situated so close to the down town area - it was a perfect location and really easy to get to all the attractions.

This was our first time at a KOA, and my parents first time tent camping so this trip was extra special. KOA made this first time camping trip a delight for my parents and a treat for myself and my boys. These grounds are by far the nicest and most well kept grounds I have had the pleasure, I like the facilities set up, the washrooms rooms were uni-sex which made it easy and comfortable for a family to use. The staff were very friendly and very helpful. I would stay there again. And thanks to the excellent experience my parents are looking forward to another stay at a KOA campgrounds.

I know some people complained about the noise at this place. We were opposite the train tracks so the sound wasn't too bad, but our camper did shake when a train went by! There was some road noise also but everyone we were with was accustomed to hearing trains at night, so it really didn't bother us. The only real bother was the music from the restaurant down the street. Saturday night they had a live band and they were playing until after midnight. The staff was courteous and professional and all the facilities were CLEAN! Trash pick up was frequent, and I love that they offer recycling. Firewood was a little pricey but they do offer a discount for multiple bundles which makes a big difference. The general store was really nice too- they had some neat souvenirs & hot coffee. It was too cold for us to use the pool but it looked nice and clean. The pool chairs were clean and plentiful. You can't beat the location either. We will definitely stay here when we return to the Dells!

Very nice campgroud. We were tenting and I couldn't believe how big the site was. It was about 3-4 times the size of a site we had stayed at in North Dakota. The pool and splash bad were very nice also. The bathrooms were clean and the store was very nice. How many other stores can you buy flavored crickets to eat. Great souvenir to take home to my employees :) We also watched the evening movie 2 nights and enjoyed that as well. We would definitely return and recommend this campground to other tenters.

We rented a one room cabin for the weekend because we were concerned about rain. It was spacious and air conditioned. The beds were a little uncomfortable because the mats are quite thin. It was super clean. The area outside the cabin was small...almost should have had one less cabin there. There was a porch attached to the cabin which came in handy when it rained. The pool area was great, especially if you have kids. There is a water play area that comes on about every 30 minutes. The store is reasonably priced if you forgot something. The staff is very friendly. The showers and bathrooms are clean and private; little rooms all by themselves set together in one building...no community bathrooms, which was a plus. The owners care greatly about their campground and handled a complaint that we had about noise and security. Overall, I would stay there again.
