“Good food, good atmosphere, little pricey”
Reviewed June 16, 2014 via mobile

Went on a Sunday night. Fixed menu where you get family style all you can eat. Food was hot and good. Down home country style. Nice fresh bread. We walked right in and sat down. Food was delivered right away.

Prices were high and cake was aweful at the end. Husband ordered ice tea and then switched his refill to Pepsi. He was charged both. Drinks not included with kids. Kids 91 cents per yr of age, but that gets a little pricey in the upper digits.

“First and last time we will go there!”
Reviewed June 15, 2014 via mobile

We were told we "has to go to the Paul Bunyan restaurant" so we decided to give it a try. There was a line out the door but it was moving pretty quick. We must have arrived right at the peak for the breakfast rush. We sat at the table for several minutes without a server. When she finally arrived, she didn't ask for a drink for our young daughter, so we gave her water at first. Then once we saw other children with milk, we asked for that. We waited probably 20 mins for our food and enjoyed the doughnuts and pancakes. The eggs were pretty good, but our server was so busy with the other tables around us if was taking way too long to get refills on anything -- food or drink. So we just called it quits and left.

We were sat directly next to a large, needy table. They got refills on every trip our server took to their table, so we hardly saw her or her hands were full.

I think we would have been happier at Denny's or IHOP. We tried it once -- won't be back and won't tell any friends to go here.

“Yum”
Reviewed June 14, 2014

The food was good. Considering it was all you can eat I was surprised by how good the food was. The service, however, was not the best. Our server left us with empty glasses (no water on the table or anything) for half an hour, when we were one of the only ones there.

“Have to go at least once”
Reviewed June 12, 2014

It's one of those thing you just have to experience at least once. You feel like a pioneer. The kids loved it. Our waiter wasn't very attentive but we were patient and enjoyed the experience. Breakfast is best. The fried chicken for dinner is decent. More for the experience!

“Wisconsin Dells fun”
Reviewed June 10, 2014

I have fond memories as a child and teen of my family eating at Paul Bunyan's so I wanted to share that with my family. We had a family style lunch and it was very tasty and I still love the atmosphere like I did as a child myself.
