My boyfriend and I came here for dinner when they had the ribs and fried chicken. One word, AMAZING! Great price, great food, it's a great experience overall. I have also tried there Friday fish fry and it is well worth the price. If you're looking for a lot of food, great atmosphere, and a family experience Paul Bunyan's is the place to go! This is my favorite place to eat in the dells!

Family of six was not a problem to sit given the large eating area and bench seating.

You pay before sitting and is not too cheap but did include drinks. This morning they served coffee, milk, Apple juice. The food, served family style, started with sugar doughnuts immediately. Then they brought home fries, scrambled eggs, sausage, ham, pancakes, and biscuits with white gravy.

They will refill but only when dish empty. There was so much food that we didn't refill anything.

It was not too noisy and checking in was quite fast. On the table was a place to leave a tip, and there are several reminders that tipping is okay.

Cost was$64 plus tip for six (one child under 12)

Good experience and we didn't need to get a lunch anywhere so that made the deal a little better.

Note: the line moves quickly so don't leave if you see a line.

Look for the big lumberjack out front and the log cabin exterior.
Inside seems like a BBQ joint. Wooden tables and a lodge look inside. The food comes out in plates and bowls country style. Really good fried chicken an pot roast an noodles, mashed potatoes, veggies and bread, salad. As you empty the bowls they bring out more, everything's hot and fresh. The day I ate here this was the choice, no menu, but it was so good I couldn't have picked a better selection. About $14 for all u can eat ,coffee and water. Beer or soda are extra. Cake came at the end.

We took the whole family, 16 of us for breakfast here.. Since we had such a big group we were worried we might have to stand in line a long time.. Surprisingly we got in fairly quick and our server Casey was excellent.. It was all you can eat with a good variety for everyone including smaller kids.. A nice experience and the breakfast was well worth it..

We stopped in during lunch and were promptly seated. Instead of ordering separate meals we opted for the family all you can eat option; which included ribs, chicken, mashed potatoes, carrots, and slices of bread. Also each of us got to pick from a starter, either a salad or bowl of cole slaw or apple sauce. The food was brought to our table in a timely manner and was hot. Our waitress was very nice and attentive. Even though we opted for the family meal, I did look over the menu and would of gotten the Alfredo but that is only a dinner time option which isn't served until 4:00. One downside to the restaurant was the table where I placed my arm was sticky and also my mom placed her purse on the floor then found the bottom sticky after she picked it up. Over all it was a great meal and can't wait to return.
