“Overpriced for slow service and tiny portions. Kid Drinks way overpriced.”
Reviewed April 23, 2013

This restaurant looks nice from the outside but it smelled mildewy where we were sitting. Waitress was nice but service was slow. Food was barely average but way overpriced. We went there for breakfast so we don't have any experience with lunch or dinner. We went to Damon's for dinner and was much better experience. Go to Ihop or somewhere else before wasting your money here.

“Amazing food and service”
Reviewed April 22, 2013

The service was amazing. The food was delicious. The view was superb :) The orange juice was a bit pricey for 5.00 a glass, but it was all very well worth it.

“Not for the budget minded”
Reviewed April 11, 2013

We've stayed at the Kalahari 2 times and both times we've had breakfast at the Ivory Coast. Both times the food and service were excellent. I keep going back for the coffee. I don't know what it is but it is delicious.
The only negative thing I have to say about the experience are the prices. They are very high. For a family of 5 to have breakfast with tip it was slightly over $65. That wouldn't be too outrageous for a large meal but one of my kids had toast and a hot cocoa. I knew it would be expensive in advance so it wasn't like it was a surprise. If you aren't concerned about what you spend I would definitely recommend it.

“Good breakfast... Exclude orange juice”
Reviewed April 4, 2013

We had delicious omelette with very crispy bacon and crunchy toast! The OJ was expensive (almost half the price of the omelette) for the quality of the juice. So with the exception of the OJ the breakfast was very good with very good value.
