This location has had a few different signs hanging out front in previous years. My wife and I never were here previously. We called to make a reservation (parties of 8 or more only)- but were reassured that for the two of us we would be seated at 8:00. We arrived a little after 7:30, found seats at the bar (which at this point we would have been happy eating there). Barstaff was great, made a hybrid concoction of a Martini for my wife which she loved, I'm simple and pleased they have a descent Bourbon selection.
Right before 8:00 we were seated outside, server greeted us promptly. She gave us a good overview of the menu, without being pushy. The menu has a little bit of an Asian influence but its not over the top. We started with the 4 jars app (don't ask just order it),
My wife anded up ordering another appetizer as her entree, I had a Lake Superior Whitefish blackened over hearty (not overtly whipped) potatoes. The Whitefish was truly cold fresh water Whitefish (the Whitefish term gets overused). We split a unique desert of baked cinnamon toast with chocolate spread (Sandwich?) that was tasty but not overly decedent.
I hope the current concept and menu survives. Its been difficult to find consistent fine dining on Lake Geneva.
