“Do NOT pass this one up - Hidden Gem!!!!”
Reviewed May 13, 2014

What an unexpected treat! Hard to find but SO well worth it!!!

You have to search and look for it - You will think you are on a residential street and about to end up in the lake, then you may see the marina or boat sales or repair place - but trust me - it's there - keep going...

We went on a Saturday evening and had a wait - there is a small gift shop with unique items and helpful staff.

The atmosphere was BEAUTIFUL and the only drawback was that it was loud - really loud when the band played. We SERIOUSLY could not hear each other at the table and the waitress even got my order wrong because she could not hear me.

The food was phenomenal! They have grass fed beef and I was told more local/natural chicken. The Potato, Gruyere & Rosemary Cakes were AAH-Mazing!!! I just got to try my friends - but I had the salad with chicken and it was good - but the tenderloin that others got looks wonderful and they said it was REALLY, really good!!!

They also have a great wine list! I even found my new favorite wine!

The decor is beautiful and there was a lot of attention to detail - well done!!! I would go back in a heartbeat - in fact - it would be a must anytime I am even remotely near there!

Please let me know if this review has been helpful!!! (thank you!!!)

“Best Place on the lake”
Reviewed May 6, 2014 via mobile

Great bar area. Monday nights Glenn Davis plays in the bar. Great music and a perfect volume. You can hear all over the restaurant, but still talk even in the bar. Friendly staff and very good food. We had the fall off the bone short ribs(outstanding) and the trout which was great with the best brussel sprouts. Peanut butter dessert needs to be shared. Good wine list too. Easily the best place on the lake.

“Go for the atmosphere! Semi-outdoor areas are breathtaking!”
Reviewed April 16, 2014

Food is ok, service was terrible (although the restaurant was fairly new when we went for a full meal), make reservations weeks in advance as they book up very far ahead of time, but the place is truly beautiful.

We enjoy Pier 290, especifally in the summer time, sitting under the tent, or near the fire pit. Wonderful view of Williams Bay.
