Description: Chef Tyler - "I've called it The Black Sheep. We are different and our menu is different. We work with local farmers and producers to bring in local and fresh wine, meats, cheeses, and produce, whenever possible. We go to the farms to see how the animals are cared for and the land is protected. We purchase just enough to keep fresh products rather than fill freezers. We are passionate about food."

We came in to Whitewater for an adventure race the next day. We had never been to the area and were pleasantly surprised by the great flavors and interesting dishes offered here. They had steaks burgers and tasty chicken Marsala ravioli and lamb and squash ravioli also. The service was scattered but it was still a good time

We have to give kudos to Trip Advisor as we would never have found this place without it. Based on the reviews we decided to have a early dinner on a Sat night. We did not have reservations but went early enough that it was not a problem as we started out as the only diners but by the time we left it was hopping. There was four of us and we all had the salmon, two specials and two from the menu. We all loved our choices and were definately glad we stopped on our way out of town. The chef even came out to make sure everythiing was fine, nice personal touch.

Food was great and not too pricey for being local. Good beer selection and atmosphere. I was with a big group and our servers were a bit disorganized and it took a long time to get our food. I give them leeway because it was a big group but it took about 15 minutes after sitting down to put in drink orders; some people were ordering at the bar. Food was worth the wait though. I'd come back.

Just an excellent place to go to. Quiet, cozy and excellent service. The mushroom bisque is to die for. The chicken marsala ravioli and veal sausage ravioli were excellent. Highly recommend for a good dinner!

The chef, Tyler, is truly creative in his menu, while offering classics that even the pickiest of eaters will love! The decor was refined, comfortable, and revealed the history of the building. The service was EXCELLENT. And the food, oh the food! Try the lamb ravioli or the salmon cakes. Even the French fries were exceptional! And the prices were affordable, especially considering the uniqueness and quality of ingredients. We can't wait to return this fall and enjoy the outdoor dining and view of the lake!
