We were impressed by the newness of the hotel and the friendliness of the front desk. When we mentioned we were in town for a funeral, the person immediately told us we had a 20% discount, which was greatly appreciated. The hotel is nicely new, the halls are pleasant, the breakfast area seating is a cut above. Appears to appeal to business people with oak laminated tables and chairs and pleasant atmosphere. I notice that we did not have a USA TODAY in front of our room door like other doors, so I assumed that only business folks got them at the door. There were some in the eating area. The breakfast stopped at 10am, also an indication of appealing more to business folks. The room was very nice except for a couple of splatted bugs on the wall. We saw MANY of these bugs at the pool area, in the water, gathered on the walls, and just annoyingly flying around. The front desk said they were beetles, and their appearance was "seasonal", and they had called the Orkin folks who were supposed to have eradicated the critters. Needless to say, we did not retuirn to the pool area, a serious disappointment for our kids. We always stay at a hotel with an indoor pool for them. I reommend this hotel for its friendliness, discount for bereavement, and newness. I caution leisure travelers, however, if they wish to go to breakfast after 10am, or if they wish newspapers at the door; and if they want a pool that feels okay to swim in and sit by.

The staff at this property went out of their way to accomodate our wedding group. Everyone was happy with their rooms. The front desk & housekeeping staff was gracious enough to place flowers, champagne & other drinks in the bride & groom's room.

The public areas & rooms were very clean & the staff was friendly. The complimentary breakfast was tasty. It offered the usual fruit, yogurt, make-your-own waffles, cheese omelets, sausage & great coffee.

We were late looking for accommodations for this year's Oshkosh Airventure, so all the closer places were taken. However, we are happy that it turned out this way. The Hampton Suites at West Bend turned out to be an ideal base for Oshkosh. It was less than an hour's drive each way, which was fine.
The hotel itself was great. Friendly staff, nice and spacious rooms, Good breakfast. Highly recommended as a base for Oshkosh or any other event nearby.

This a newer, very clean hotel. We got a King Studio room--open layout with bed, desk and couch (same price as standard double room). Standard B+/A- Hampton Inn breakfast spread, cold and hot stuff. Nice lobby and breakfast area. Pool and hot tub were also very nice and we made use of them in the evenings (open until midnight). Hotel is near the highway, which was convenient for us as we were driving north to Kettle Moraine, but in the evenings it would be nice to be closer to the cute downtown where the non-chain restaurants are (the hotel was in strip mall-land). At $120 a night I think it's a little pricey for the area ($100ish would be more reasonable), but as far as I can tell it's the best of the chain hotels in West Bend. We had a pleasant stay--I would return to this hotel.

Great hotel for when staying in West Bend. Everything seems very new, nice clean rooms, friendly service, nothing to complain about. Close to what you need in West Bend along with getting on the expressways.
