“Best Steak and Service in Town”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 9, 2012

I have been going to Eddie's since moving into town about 8 years ago.
I have never had a bad steak, always extremly flavorful and cooked just right to order.
Name the steak house in the greater Milwaukee area, I've been there, and Eddie's is the best. Cream corn is to die for.
Deserts are excellent.
Plenty of sides and apts to choose from.
Service is always top notch.
The scene isn't cool or hip like other places around town, but the food and service is the best, and the reason to dine at Eddie's.

“Best Food, Best Atmosphere .. EXCEPT for the Foie Gras”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 3, 2012

it's a place to feel special, have great food and feel totally pampered ... The food is perfect --- I have been there many times and have never had a bad meal. Only thing that I would ding them on is that they serve foie gras -- How trendy is a restaurant serving cruelty: birds laying in their own vomit, bleeding to death from the inside and physically bursting?

It is the reason that I don't go there anymore ... others may find it acceptable but it's an ethical question for me ....

“Excellent food and service”

We heard about the restaurant from a professional & friend and it is excellent spot for that special occasion. It is pricy though worth it for that occasional night out. First class staff and service.

We have lived in the Milwaukee area for 24 years and somehow had never been to this landmark restaurant. I am truly sorry we waited this long. I would have to say this is possibly the best restaurant meal we have had in Milwaukee. Service was impeccable (our wait team was Troy and Jesse). Drinks were generous. Our appetizer was their signature Seafood Martini. For two it was $38 and included eight large (2-3 bite) prawns (perfectly cooked) four split King Crab legs, two Bluepoint oysters, two steamed mussels, marinated shrimp, an ample portion of smoked trout and a seaweed salad with sesame that was out of this world. Next came salad. My wife had the warm spinach salad with walnuts. I had the iceberg lettuce salad with an excellent bleu chesse dressing and pralined pecans. The entree was the evening's special of Australian grass-fed beef tenderloin with an arugala medley and roasted potatoes. We order sides of roasted asparagus and mushrooms to share. The beef was by far the best, most flavorful, perfectly cooked (medium rare) piece of meat I've had in recent memory. That is even comparing it to a visit to Bartalotta's Mr. B's within the past two months. The whole meal with two drinks and no wine was $180 before tip, so it was not inexpensive. However, while it will be special occasions when we return, we will definitely return. After our entree, Troy asked what had brought us to Eddie Martini's. We told him we were celebrating our 35th anniversary. They proceeded to bring us an wonderful chocolate mousse with candle. The whole experience was really memorable.
