“Delicious baked goodies”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed November 20, 2012

I met some friends here for coffee/pastries on a Sunday morning recently. There was a parking lot right next door to the building, but it was small and filled up not long after I parked. It's a small bakery, so our group of three had to wait for a few minutes for a table to open up, but it was worth the wait. My chocolate croissant was light and delicious. There was a wide variety of baked goods and sandwiches. The staff was friendly and polite. Would love to come back and try more of their offerings!

“Welcome addition to Tosa”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 17, 2012

First visit on June 16, 2012. Street parking in this area is tough so it was nice to find a parking lot avialble - easy in/out in spite of traffic. The chalk art on the sidewalk gives you an idea about the attitude inside - fun!

I ordered a sampling of most of the patries on display plus a sandwich (huge! and a bargain at the price) to try later at home. I was not disappointed. The chouquettes (smaller cousin to the creme puff) with a thicker vanilla filling were my favorite. The small elcairs had a chocolate filling which I do not like as much as the traditional vanilla filling, but that's just me.

The blueberry / cheese danish was perfection - looking forward to other versions. (If any of you know the Missouri Baking Company on "The Hill" in St. Louis, you will be enjoy these.) The raspberry scone would be better with just a bit more filling but this is not a complaint - I just really like raspberry. And the bran muffins are great! Nex time I will try a couple of the many beads they offer - big fan of sourdough!

Can't wait to see what items turn up on the anticipated expansion of the menu! Cookies and coffee cakes, please?
