Haven't had lunch or dinner here yet, but the desserts are top notch. Extremely friendly and knowledgeable staff, great selection of desserts as well as coffees and drinks. I can't wait to go back and try some more.

Nice little spot in the village, with a self serve counter for breakfast and a delightful selection of pastries to enjoy anytime of the day. Lunch menu has depth without going overboard, recommend the duck salad.
However, that being said, the service is terrible. Staff is not friendly, often appears bothered they have to do their jobs, and more interested in just getting by than taking care of the customers that walk thru the door and want to spend their hard earned money there. Very disappointing.
With all due respect, it would be nice to see someone take pride in their work, no matter what it is.

Nice atmosphere; interesting menu choices for breakfast; self service of the coffee is a bit difficult to manage, especially when you are getting up and down to refill your cup during a meal; great pastry; worth the trip.

One thing I love about this restaurant is that it is not too pretentious yet it remains charming and delicious. It has a french bistro feel about it which is cozy. There is a bar when you enter and further down the room is a bakery case with a selection of enticing desserts including macaroons and tarts just like you might find in Paris. There is also an upstairs with plenty of seating though I prefer the downstairs atmosphere. They recently modified the menu though the choices are similar. Crepes, entrees, salads, and french onion soup are all available. I dont remember ever having a bad meal here. The only thing that is a consideration is that parking can sometimes be a challenge. Otherwise, highly recommended.

I'm really picky about French restaurants as I worked with Chef Pierre Briere at Elliot's Bistro for many years and his food was the most amazing... at any rate, Le Reve is the FIRST French restaurant I've gone to and gone back to! I've had the French Onion Soup (amazing) the Escargoet (different from what I'm used to, but still tasty) the Crostini- crusty bread with brie, honey, and pepper-( I can't get enough!)- the bouef bourguignon and the steak au poivre. Everything was delicious- including my brandy old fashioned which was made the right way (hand muddled) Still haven't made it to the dessert (which is featured in the case and all looks dreamy), but when I head back a 3rd time, I'll make it a point to try :)
