“your grandmother would like this place”
Reviewed July 10, 2009

It is ok, not really a place for dates, or to go out with friends. For families with small kids it is fine, the food is ok, typical american , nothing exotic. service is good.

“Good home cooked food”
Reviewed June 22, 2008

I'd compare this to something like a Perkin's, but with more of a home town flavor. The baked goods were so tempting, but we managed to pass by them and order dinner. We did have a bit of a wait, but it was a Friday night, so no surprise. They really don't have much space to sit in the waiting area, but do have a small gift shop area to wander.

The service was a bit on the slow side, but the server was very friendly and apologized for the slowness. Since it was Friday, all 5 of us in the party ordered some kind of seafood off the menu. I personally had the shrimp sampler with 3 different ways it was prepared. Nothing overly spectacular, but it was good. My dad had the shrimp basket and had so many shrimp, he couldn't finish it all. (And his was the cheapest meal of anyone, so definitely a good value!) All the meals were good, filling, and unfortunely didn't leave room to try the yummy looking deserts.

We definitely plan on going back!
