A group of nine of us, most from out of town, had breakfast here this morning. We did not experience any of the problems some other reviewers have mentioned. Our waitress was just excellent, she even gave us separate checks, she brought us all the coffee we needed or wanted. The meal I had was delicious, and the bread was out of this world. They offer a lot of choices, so ASK! Mine was called Apple Fritter Bread and it was seriously so good, I've never had anything like it anywhere. Skip the sourdough, those who had it were disappointed in it, very thin and tasteless. We had an enjoyable breakfast, anyway.

Great Service, food was good and staff was nice. Bathrooms even though adjoined to the Hotel were clean. We had breakfast both days and it was great, they even gave us a to go coffee cup in the morning.

The food was average. We had a very nice waitress but she was very busy. We noticed that the restaurant did not have any bus person to clean the tables. The waitresses had to do everything, which slowed the service down. Very busy place. The servers need help. We tipped her well because she did alot.

I love the name! Emma Krumbees. We had to see inside. Walking into the restaurant was just like going home. A very pleasant place to go, the staff was very friendly, and the food, everything was tasty and fresh, just like home. We could tell that people return here time and time again. The price was a very good value, and they have their own bakery. We bought a delicious fresh blueberry pie to go and we weren't even going home with it, but enjoyed it at our hotel. Wausau is very lucky to have Emma's in their town, I wish we did.

I wanted something like a home-cooked meal. They had a baked chicken dinner on special. I had broccoli - well steamed, homestyle mashed potatoes a tad lumpy, but REAL, and the gravy was great. The dish was garnished with stuffing, a pickled beet and a small dish of cranberry sauce. It was all just what I needed.

Staff was extremely nice and efficient.
