The broiled shrimp and broiled perch dinners were excellent. The food was very pleasing to the senses.

My husband and I just ate here for lunch and were very dissapointed. The bartender had a poor attitude and acted as if she had better things to do (like stand and watch the soaps she put on) and couldn't care less about customers.

I ordered the marinated chicken breast sandwich. It ended up being half of a breast with absolutely no flavor. Normally when you marinade something you can see evidence of the spices even after cooking. Not so in his case. It looked like it was boiled and tasted like it to. Thank god for the salt and pepper. Otherwise it tasted like eating a lettuce and tomato sandwich.

My husband had the buffalo chicken sandwich. It looked good but there was no buffalo flavor. Normally there should be a bite to a buffalo sandwich but not so in this case.

Maybe this pace is just not a lunch spot. I don't know but it makes me second think coming here for dinner. Will probably pass on it.

Don't recommend at all!

Great service and I mean great! Super attentive! Kept the meal rolling with humor and grace. It felt like being in a friend's dining room and having a great time, especially if your friend were a meat butcher because almost everything in the place is dripping with meat. If you like a variety of cuts this is your spot. If you like fresh vegetables try foraging in a local field.

My wife and I dined at Simpson's Restaurant in December, 2012. We were both quite pleased with the quality of their broiled perch and broiled shrimp dinners. The dinners were a little on the pricy side, but the food was delicious.
