Good site for such a small town. It explained a lot of the history of this small town. The occupation of fishing must have been a tough life.

“An interesting place”
Reviewed July 6, 2012

I enjoy history and taking pictures so I found this site very interesting. Upon my arrival I was greeted, asked to sign it and then one of the persons on staff gave me a personal tour of the museum. He was very knowledgeable and very excited to share the museum with you. The museum is on the harbor where the famous Christmas Tree ship sank so they have a number of items on display from the ship. Also this was the site of the French fishing village so they have two rooms set up so one can see what a home looked like. There is also a dispaly of Coast Guard history. The nice part is the staff is so helpful and they do not charge admission. There is a container for your donation. Try it, you will enjoy it.

“Good for small museum”
Reviewed June 20, 2012

A lot is packed into this smal area. There is a small lighthouse, tugboat, and some indoor exhibits..

“Quaint Museum”
Reviewed June 17, 2012

Enjoyed our visit to learn a little about the history of commercial fishing in Two Rivers, WI. Quaint buildings, a fishing boat, relics, paintings and photographs to see. Nominal admission charge; very accommodating docents. It's not the Smithsonian, but we enjoy visiting little, local, historical museums wherever we go.

“What makes this whole experience is the shipwreck museum and the guide!”
Reviewed August 21, 2011

The stories we heard and the different salvage we saw made it worth the price alone.
