Patti & Turner really know how to make people feel welcome. Upon arrive Turner walked us through all the fun gagets in our room, where to get complementary beverages, where the water toys were, and even offered to make dinner reservations for us.

The attention to detail was wonderful. A hand written card, homemade chocolate chip cookies, fantastic smelling bath salts for the hot tube, organic soaps, a keurig coffee pot in the room, an iPod/iPhone doc, a fireplace, fun little scrabble tiles for notes, beautiful walking paths, firepit, games, and the list goes on and on.

Excited to see what the winter has to offer at Canyon Road Inn.Thank you Patti & Turner!

This was our first time at a bed and breakfast so we were a little unsure of what to expect. The owners were gracious and wonderful. Everything down to the smallest details were taken care of. It was quiet and clean. There was a shared fridge on the lower level so we could put our leftovers, etc. We could borrow movies and games from the game room. We even tried snowshoeing in the woods for a few hours! We really enjoyed our stay and the food was wonderful! I would do it again in a heartbeat and if you have never stayed at a bed and breakfast, I could recommend trying this one for sure.

Room Tip: I would go for the room on the lower level with the claw foot tub if I had a chance to do it again...

On a tip from a fellow customer at a local car dealership we discovered the Canyon Road Inn a little over two years ago. At that time my wife and I spent a wonderful week-end in a large comfortable room with a panorarmic view of a Wisconsin lake. The breakfasts that we were served each morning were delicious, and the portions were more than adaquate to satisfy my appetite for sausage meat, eggs, and made from scratch muffins. That being said, from this initial visit, my wife and I have returned to the comfort of the Canyon Road Inn in order to take a much needed break from our busy lives in the Twin Cities. It is nice to know that when it is time for a brief respit, our "Personal Retreat" is only an eighty to ninety minute drive away from our home. Even though it has only been a week since our last visit, my wife and I are already looking forward to making our next reservation in June. Our thanks to Patti and Turner, the owners of the Canyon Road Inn who do their best to make sure that each of their guests are comforable and feel at home.

Room Tip: Each room at the Canyon Road Inn is spacious and comfortable.

If you need time to consider, to reflect, to renew, this is the place for you. The serenity of Canyon Road Inn restores the peace that so often gets lost in busy lives. As elementary teachers coming off a busy, hectic school year, Canyon Road Inn was the perfect place to replenish. Impeccably kept, with beautiful rooms and kind, friendly hosts Canyon Road Inn is a true gem. Simply the best Bed and Breakfast I have stayed in for genuine repose.

If you want a guaranteed relaxing holiday, where the innkeepers take care of all the details - stay at Canyon Road Inn.

I looked at dozens of BBs from Milwaukee - through Madison , up 94/90 - to Rice Lake...and choose Canyon Road Inn sight-unseen. We arrived at 1:30 am with instructions of where our room was, exhaustion from 5 hrs of driving, and hope that everything would be fine...we were WOWed. From the sign on the door welcoming us and wishing us a good sleep, a personal note and cookies making the room seem better than home, the indulgent robes, the high-end in-room coffee maker, the gizzilion count sheets (again better than home), to every need thereafter, we were cared for. Big thanks to our new friends Patti and Turner who love and run the place. You will see us again and again.

My husband and I went to Canyon Road Inn for my birthday. We were welcomed with open arms by Turner and Patti. They were wonderful and gracious hosts. The rooms each had a fun decor and were well maintained. Patti and Turner do a great job of thinking of the 'little things'.
We are looking forward to returning soon!

My husband and I wanted a little getaway not too far from our Minnesota home and so we discovered the wonderful hospitality at the Canyon Road Inn. Patti and Turner are superior hosts and their B&B is warm and welcoming. We enjoyed the lovely spacious grounds, the clean and comfortable room and great breakfasts every morning. Also the lively conversation at breakfast with the other guests. The surrounding area provides many opportunities for exploration, shopping and dining. Don't miss a side trip to Cumberland and be sure to stop in at Louie's Finer Meats....one of the best meat markets ever! We will certainly be back to the Canyon Road Inn.
