We were able to make reservations at the last moment - the day before the bike rally due to a cancellation! Great place to stay - conveniently located, very clean and extremely wonderful staff. We were very thankful and appreciative of their service. Great town to visit - the rally was wonderful and the rides were awesome. Highly recommended.

We were on a road trip and it was getting late so we figured Super 8 has a good reputation......WRONG. The only thing good about this place was the clerk, she was very nice. Rooms were $100+ a night (figured not going to get a cheaper place). We should've left! Beds were like bricks, bedspreads were smelly, room was musty smelling, A/C clunked and made noises all night long, shower didn't drain so your shower water was at least 2 inches over your ankles. Every time we'd go in out of the doors, there were at least 2 people smoking right there. It was a place to sleep, but would recommend going down the road to the Bridge Inn/Motel.

Room Tip: If you want a good room = Don't stay here

If you are planning a trip to this hotel in September you can forget about the dates
for Sept 13 thru Sept 16. That is when Tomahawk has there biker rally. And they cater
to them. They reserve rooms to the bikers that stay there every year. This is not right!!!!!
It should be first come first serve!!!!! Even if you are a biker and are going to the rally and
you have never stayed there. You still can't book a room for that weekend!!! Cause yep
you guessed it!!! You have never stayed there for the rally and they give the same ones
the room!!!!! And its not just this hotel. Its all hotels in Tomahawk!!!!!1
THIS IS NOT FAIR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! What sort of trip was this?

This appears to be a newer motel, since everything is clean, modern, and well designed. There's a small pool, spa, and a fairly large and pleasant breakfast area. Housekeeping kept my room very nice for 4 nights, and the folks behind the counter were friendly. As for the free WiFi, there was a choice of two routers to log in to which was nice. My only knock on this motel isn't its fault. There's a nearby bridge being rebuilt which requires a five minute detour to access the vast majority of the town. Overall, it's noticeably nicer than most Super 8's.

I was quoted a price (lowest they had) by there clerk and when I checked out the wanted a lot more per night. I travel to Tomahawk once a year for a week and I have found a different place to stay and the price what they tell me is what the bill is . Never again will stay here

I had booked a room at this place for the wrong date. It was quite evident that it was a mistake as the date of the booking was the same date as the reservation and I live almost 8 hours from there. Well when I found out several days later I called the property and told them I had intended to put in a different date later in September and could they wave the cancellation fee. Well they basically said too bad, your mistake and not ours so we are going to keep your money. So needless to say I cancelled my other room that I had booked for the right day. If this family owned place could care less about you before you even get there, especially in this economy and stick you with a $90 fine, can you imagine what might happen if you are far from home. I will never ever stay here or any other Super8 for that matter.

We stayed for one Saturday night. Large lobby with breakfast and sitting area. Hallways were clean and newly re-done. Room was comfortable and clean. Large indoor pool had beautiful knotted wood walls. The kids liked the small arcade room. First time staying there, we definately will be back.
