We had just arrived in Sturgeon Bay, picked up the key to our rental cottage, and decided to get some lunch. We asked the rental proprietors, "where do you go for good food." They mentioned several places, including Bluefront Cafe. What a find! We were seated immediately and both the service and the food were outstanding. I had the Southwest salad, which was made with the freshest ingredients: greens, corn salsa, black beans, cucumber, avocado slices, and a light dressing on the side. My husband had the Bahn Mi, a sandwich that included pulled pork, liver pate, jalapeno peppers and Asian peppers. It, too, had a dressing on it. My husband raved about it, including the fact that the liver pate was outstanding. We both enjoyed an iced tea that tasted like...iced tea rather than colored water! We were going to return the following day, but decided to try another one of the recommendations we received. We'll definitely return to try some of the many other fresh and descriptive items. We may even try one of the microbrews Bluefront serves.
