“Overall a very nice experience!”

Stopped in for late night burgers. Cooked to perfection, lived that it was served on soft bread instead if a bun. The homemade fries were of a generous portion, and golden brown. I can see why this is a local favorite- the bartender knows many if the patrons , and gives a friendly greeting when you come in the door. I'll be coming back for their Friday perch, another winner. The potato salad and slaw are simply the best. I give Bifminghams a definite many thumbs up!!

“Wish we had tried the burgers......”
Reviewed September 3, 2013

Our last night in Door County and we were looking for a good place to enjoy a famous Wisconsin Fish Fry for take out. Birmingham's was recommended by a local. We ordered the perch and shrimp dinner. AWFUL!!!! (we were very disappointed) -- $34.00 down the drain. The french fries were actually burnt. Apparently they are nothing more than a local watering hole and we don't drink. Anything tastes good after putting away a few -- been there, done that!

After attempting to eat it we threw the food in the garbage and went to Culvers where we paid less than half the price for a good meal.

“Excellent burgers!”
Reviewed August 2, 2013

For those of you inclined to check out the whole Door County experience, I'd suggest the Birmingham's bar. Their burgers, on white bread (I know it sounds odd, but they make it work) and the curds are excellent. It's not exactly white tablecloth dining, but that's not what you're looking for up there so it delivers some good grub.

“This is the Ultimate Door County Roadhouse”
Reviewed April 6, 2013

We been going to Birmingham's for the last 40 years. Friday night is the Perch Night. These are cooked by the owners wife, June Birmingham. Her husband, Bud, passed away several years ago, and now their son, Brad runs the bar. The fish is cooked to order in cast iron skillets.

Saturday, hamburger on that days home made white bread, get the grilled onions. The patties are made by hand and again cooked in the cast iron skillets.

Specials on Saturday and Sunday, plus on Sundays dinner comes with homemade desert. One night, sorry I cannot remember, awesome peal and eat shrimp.
