We had been to John Martin's Restaurant previously but were majorly disappointed in the service and food over Memorial weekend. Our food took a ridiculously long time...the waitress said that unfortunately, a larger order (for six people) slipped ahead of our order for two. Then they ran out of bread and told us it would be "just six minutes" until the bread was out of the oven. When our food arrived, the soup was cold. The pasta primavera was a disappointment. The pasta was soggy and I couldn't find the "primavera" vegetables...there were a few slivers of possibly peppers and zucchini. It was swimming in oil and had no flavor. It was our 25th wedding anniversary dinner and I am still mad over the disappointing evening. On a good note, my husband thought the meatloaf was good.
