“Sunday brunch is a must!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 15, 2012

We stopped by and enjoyed a delicious Sunday brunch. There were lots of tempting items to choose from on the menu and there's even a small bake shop to allow you to take some of the treats with you.

“Always a good meal, nice atmosphere”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 7, 2012

Food is quite good in a nice old building right on Sturgeon Bay's 3rd Avenue which is effectively Main Street. Desserts and pastries are also excellent so save room for something sweet!

“LOVE this place”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 5, 2012

This is my favorite restaurant in Sturgeon Bay. The decor is very classic and beautiful. The food and wine are out of this world. I also like that there are many vegetarian options available on the menu. I have never had anything there that I didn't like. My favorite part of eating here is the dinner rolls. They are made from scratch, served warm and are to die for. The quiche that they serve for breakfast is also very good. The only reason that I don't go there more often is because they are pretty pricey, but when I have the extra money it is worth it!

“A Door County treat in Sturgeon Bay!”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 5, 2012

Great service and excellent food....the brandy Alexander was the perfect dessert!
A convenient walk or carriage ride from the Stone Harbor (which also has excellent food!)
They have a reasonable wine selection too. Not sure why the negative reviews....we liked it!

“Not what it used to be....”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 20, 2012

We have stopped hear for MANY years, primarily for breakfast or lunch.
The decor remains unchanged, very country and looks tired, as did our waitress. The menu was previously more extensive and unique and now seems very bland. I order the Eggs Benedict which was totally flavorless-salt & pepper helped, but this was in need of some fresh spice. The fruit cup was primarily colorless melon that again had no flavor. The bakery in the front used to be very tempting to take home baked goods, now mostly empty and the few items there looked neglected. Time to find a new breakfast/lunch spot......
