Clean, Quite, Hospitable, Gorgeous atmosphere: Early nineteenth century, Victorian. The Main sitting rooms are well stocked with themed antiques, books and furnishings. We spent an evening on the back porch, playing scrabble, reading and talking. Modern amenities & Central air made dealing with the heatwave simple. Location, location, location. Walking distance from downtown is 3-4 blocks, walking distance to Brewery 0.8 mile. My first stay at a B&B with a family of four and Grandparents: 3 rooms. Everyone agrees it was a relaxing stay. The two breakfasts we had were wonderful, The stuffed french toast is delicious!!
Note: Some rooms have their own bathrooms, others do not. We stayed when one other couple occupied a room in the house. We didn't have any bathroom occupancy issues.
Breakfast is normal served at 8:30am. With larger groups, this may be altered if scheduling is an issue. The owners: Bill & Bonnie are both a fountain of knowledge and are easy to talk to. During breakfast is an excellent time to ask about locate events, history and recommendations.

Room Tip: No elevator. Back stairwell is steep (be careful). The shared bathroom is large, walk-in shower on the 1st floor at the bottom of the steep stairs.

The room was comfortable with the touches of old wood and lace that you would expect from times past. We were received with a warm welcome and given "above the call" service when we had car trouble. Breakfast included good company, elegant setting and tasty food. In all my travels I had never experienced "stuffed french toast. It is one of the best breakfasts I have had. (You could certainly tell it wasn't "institutional" food).

It is definately on our "We're going back there again" list.
