@1800 is the high-end gourmet hub of Stevens Point. If you're looking for a place to park your Ralph Lauren and Chanel-covered body, then look nowhere else. This place seems to attract more of the upper middle-class locals and travelers here on business who appreciate expensive plates with next to nothing portions.
The clean white and black lines shape a classy atmosphere with a beautiful view of the outdoors that make up for the parvenu crowd. Sometimes one will see deer feeding alongside of you and your creme brulee.
The waitstaff are knowledgeable about the various dishes and provide a warm experience, although, our waitress was older and seemed like she'd been with the restaurant for a while. Their procedure for hosting guests mildly reflects an upscale New York dining experience. Bravo.
The food was beautified, no more, no less. I don't remember being shocked by the taste.
Overall, it's a great place to impress family, business partners, or a date if you're new to Stevens Point, visiting on business, or there on vacation. Ignore the looks from the people wearing business attire if you walk in wearing jeans and a t-shirt.
