Description: The Red Mill began as a Country Bar in the 1930's with charcoal grilled sandwiches and Friday Night Fish Fry's. Early in its existence, the restaurant was called the Tip Top. It was not until 1952 that the business was purchased by a Milwaukee couple and renamed The Red Mill. Several years later, a red mill was constructed on the southwest corner of the business and lasted for approximately 20 years before it was taken down. Many improvements have been made to the restaurant since the 1980's, including room dividers and an outdoor deck and 4 season porch which overlook a pond and fountain bordered by a wide variety of perennial flowers. In 2006, a drive-thru was constructed to accommodate take-home orders on Fridays. The indoor and outdoor decorations attract many visitors throughout the year, especially during the holiday season. In September 2001, the latest chapter of The Red Mill began when the Thompson family became the newest owners. Originally from the Stratford/ Marshfield area, Don and Melissa Thompson, along with their sons Dominic and Devin, are proud of their family-owned and operated business and 2013 Outstanding Restaurateur of the Year Award. We're keeping the tradition of the finest food and drink, with exceedingly friendly service that you'll return to enjoy, time after time. Thank you for choosing The Red Mill Supper Club.

The prepared dishes are always excellent and the prices are not cheap but reasonably expected for the dining experience.

This restaurant is a cute little building, although it does offer a great amount of seating. The inside decor could stand to be updated a bit, however, the food is amazing! So, if you don't mind the wallpaper & carpet & want real good food, this is a must try. They do have an outside seating area which is nice during the summer months. They decorate the outside area, which is quite wooded, during the winter for Christmas with Disney characters, which the kids enjoy looking at. The menu selection offers a variety of choices. My husband's favorite is the prime rib & their homemade Texas chili. We both enjoy their Friday fish fry & my fave is the King crab legs. YUM! It's a nice dining experience when your looking for something more than fast food & a little something under the super fancy & expensive restaurants out there.

We had a delightful waitress here. Lots of laughter and very good food. Our son goes to college in Stevens Point so we will go back often. We loved the rib eye steak and chocolate cake the best.

We have visited the Red Mill Inn Supper Club because our child is at UWSP and is gluten intolerant. We found the staff to be extremely knowledgeable about gluten-free preparation and had a complete seperate menu to accommodate us. Yes, the restaurant is very dated, but we found it to have a northwoods charm to it. The food was good, and the service was relaxed. Since we were dining with family, we were in no rush. The Red Mill has become our "family place" to dine out. I just wish they had an Easter Brunch.

The food was only ok. The atmosphere was cozy but the music was horrible and loud. The service was also only ok.
