Large selection of organics and other heath food items. The
restaurant is pricey and portions are small

I love going in here, I learn something new about food, or what's happening in town every time. They have so much knowledge to share, which they do so willingly. The food selection is excellent, all in season, and as local as they can get it. There is always something new to try and ideas passed around on how to prepare the groceries you can buy. Not to mention the mouthwatering sandwiches they make. They are doing things right here, and doing it very well.

We stopped here after touring House on the Rock. One half is a cafe, one half is a small grocery/general store. They have local organic produce, meat, popcorn, and other miscellaneous grocery items. The list goes on. They have an outdoor patio area and a small seating area indoors. We really enjoyed our sandwich (the egg salad was awesome) and the pretzel with spicy mustard. I would guess they change up their menu frequently, but these were some of the choices on the day we went. We would definitely go back if we lived closer! :)

Small place but a nice visit for a quick lunch. Half the store is a small (4 tables) restaurant, and the other half is a small organic type grocery store.

Went to Driftless Depot once again for the Friday night trout dinner. Trout comes from a Wisconsin trout farm and is deliciously prepared in a simple butter-caper sauce. The antipasto plate had a delicious cheese, and we came back the next morning to buy some to take home. Wait staff was flexible enough to help us split plates and desserts. We were lucky with the weather and were able to sit on the terrace. We'll go back again!
