The architecture has some Frank Lloyd Wright features which blends with the area. Our rooms faced the golf course. Peaceful, quiet, and beautiful. The rooms are great. Microwave, frig, coffee pot, sink, table to play cards or eat, living room with doors to close going to bedroom. The bedroom has a seperate door to a little patio which we left open at night. The stars are bright and if you are an early morning person, you'll love listening to the birds. Very comfortable and clean. We could have stayed longer. We ate lunch and dinner in the restaurant and found the food good. The wine selection is poor but that won't spoil your evening. The next time we go we will bring swimwear. The indoor pool, wading pool, and whirlpool are clean and they are enclosed is a huge vaulted ceiling room with wood and sky lights. We golfed 9 holes and the course was in excellent shape and the scenery can't be beat. Staff was friendly. The Pro shop offers sandwiches and a bar. No ladies merchandise to buy. And, when finished with golf go ahead and sit outside on the patio. There is a lot to do in the area. If you have not visited this part of the Wisconsin, buy a Wisconsin Atlas map and drive some of the little roads that weave around hills, valleys and farms.
