I hesitate to tell you about this. One of the reasons I love this park is because it is rarely crowded. There are half a dozen waterfalls, the water brown from the tanins leaching out of leaves covering the forests around the Amnicon River. The river splits in two, running around this "island" and meeting again at the north end of the island before finishing its trip to Lake Superior. There is a camp ground, volleyball pits, picnic tables, BBQ pits. In the summer, the kids can play in the water below the main falls. You will need a state park pass (a great deal) to park your car in the parking lot.
