We are here on a Thursday evening. Very large restaurant with beautiful and romantic decor. Menu was appropriately priced given the atmosphere. We had impeccable service from Hans. Portions weren't huge but full of flavor. Wine and beer list were large. We enjoyed our meal and hope to go back again.

This is hands down one of the best restaurants in Door County. The food is absolutely amazing. We decided to have a lot of small dishes and they were so amzing! The risotto/corn cakes were awesome! We were still hungry so we ordered the sliders. OMG...so good!!!
The owner came over to our table and he greeted us and told us the story of the restaurant..It is an old chuch so it is beautiful.
The other thing I loved was the staff. They really help each other and seem to work so well together. When our plates were empty someone removed them. If you needed water someone refilled it. Very impressive!

The Mission Grille continues to offer consistently delicious and wholesome food choices, served in one of the most lovely venues in Door County. The building is originally a mission church from around 1910, then a parochial church, and now a restaurant. The cuisine is based on high quality fresh meat and fish, and it is not difficult for a vegetarian to find choices. We had line-caught Alaskan salmon and thick lamb ribs. Vegetable quinoa and kale almond sides were outstanding, not so the garlic mashed, which were pasty. A few food glitches in kitchen to server were dealt with most satisfactorily. Really nice wine choices, and many that don't break the budget. Food prices are high but fair, especially compared with several other places in this tourist hot spot.

We had dinner at the Mission Grille on a Sunday and we enjoyed our meals. We were a little disappointed we could not eat outside they told us they did not have enough staff. The outside area looked very inviting and was set up with white table clothes and wine glasses.

The service was a little shaky the waitress was nice but I am sure she was very new. The menu is forward thinking but not very extensive.

Spent my birthday dinner at Mission Grill and was not disappointed.
Owners welcomed us and our meal was excellent...followed by a complementary dessert. How nice!
