Service was the worst I've ever seen in Door County after 10 years of visiting. We first arrive to sit near the bar and have a quick, good meal. We were forced to sit in the back room which was dark and had no T.V.'s in sight. My meal was decent, while others in my party had similar thoughts. Our server was poorly dressed and had terrible "people' skills. She had stuck her thumbs in our plates and licked them. Also, the mini bartender in the back had wiped the counter with a used napkin he had used blew his nose into and wiped his mouth with. He also ate the leftover food that our party hadn't finished. I will never even think about visiting this place again. We still talk about this bad experience a whole month after visiting.

If you want to eat at SISTER BAY BOWL on a holiday or festival weekend, GET THERE EARLY WHEN THEY OPEN or you are going to be captive for a long wait. Very smoky at bar which meant we sat outside while waiting. Anything you order is a WINNER. The service is served by women who have been there what seems like forever and that's a plus!!

Good food, especially if you like prime rib (at a great price) or fish. My 24 year old hadn't been back to Door County for 7 years and when asked what he wanted to make sure he did, he only said "Perch!" which meant Sister Bay Bowl. I always have the prime rib, always a good deal, and when it's the special, you're talking 12 oz. melt-in-your-mouth prime rib with salad, baked potato (varieties on sides) for about $17. The service staff is some of the best you'll see in Door County.

Going to Door County for 25 plus years. The Sister Bay Bowl is a wonderful, friendly old fashioned Supper Club. The perch is outstanding as is their whitefish. Wanna good quick lunch with a Bloody Mary and friendly service? Then run to The Sister Bay Bowl. While your there try a game of bowling in their old time bowling alley. Greatest way to "roll back to the good old days" in this crazy hurried world!!

We have been vacationing in Door County for almost 25 years, but for some reason had never tried Sister Bay Bowl. I guess not being bowlers, we weren't drawn to the name. However, people kept telling us the food was excellent and we should try it, and in June we did. It was great! The hostess greeted us warmly and seated us immediately, and the waitress was quickly with us taking our drink order and answering questions, and was also friendly and welcoming. The menu has a wide selection, and we both found great choices - I had a classic supper-club meal, a t-bone and baked potato, both of which were done to perfection, and the side salad was also a classic of the old-school supper club. My husband chose a odd combo - ribs and fried shrimp - and enjoyed it very much also. And we liked the breads! We felt the price was appropriate for a supper-club menu; the wine list had some good selections for reasonable prices too. The timing of the meal was well-paced, allowing us to relax without ever having to wait too long. The tables were not too crowded together (a pet-peeve of mine in some restaurants) and the dining room was comfortable and well-presented - they are not trying too hard to be trendy, and I personally prefer an old establishment to keep some vintage appeal. After dinner we enjoyed a drink in the bar, and watched some families bowling in the quaint 6-lane alley, through the large viewing windows. Next time, if there's no drizzle, we'll try the new outside bar. (If it's dog-friendly, it may become a regular stop on our DC travels!)
