A must for newbies visiting Door County. Goats on the roof is something to see... breakfast was great and done to perfection. Eggs came out good, breakfast potatoes good and Swedish meatballs for a side were very good. Service was very fast and our waitress was nice.

Thought the food was very good and service excellent. Had the Swedish meat balls they are known for and liked them very much.

A great place for breakfast but expect to wait to be seated, even in September. A Door County landmark, yes the place with the goats on the roof, Al Johnson's is worth the visit. The menu features Swedish dishes but also offers traditional fare. Prices are up there but then this is Door County. You can shop in the butik, attached store, while waiting to be seated and then enjoy a great breakfast served by wait staff in costume.

Their swedish pancakes and meatballs are fantastic! Lingonberries from Sweden govwuth everything you eat! The waitresses are dressed in authentic swedish attire. They are friendly and courteous to help in every way possible. The restaurant is set up to look like an authentic Swedish Stuga or home! They even have goats grazing on the rooftop! The butik has many beautiful swedish and scandavian knick knacks. They carry besutiful jewelry and clothing as well! A true place to shop when shopping in the many shops in Door County, Wisconsin. Menu was very good. Many Swedish items on the menu. Place is well run and clean. Food was very good. Service was a bit slow but a bus load of seniors came in ahead of us.
