We went for breakfast and the food was fabulous. The goats on the roof were very enjoyable to watch. We will stop again when traveling in this area of WI.

“Fantastic!”
Reviewed June 12, 2013

We were on a vacation in Door County recently so we had to make a stop at Al Johnson's! We are true Swedes so we know what is the real deal, and let me tell you, this is. My mom and I had the Swedish pancakes and those were especially good with the lingonberry jam (so good that we picked some up in the gift shop!) The boys had Swedish meatball sandwiches and those were very good as well. Even the cracker basket before the meal was good! my only complaint is that our waitress was quite awkward and made the feeling in the room tense.

“I hope the breakfast is good because lunch is not”
Reviewed June 4, 2013

The best thing about this place are the goats on the roof. We had the speical of the day grilled turkey sandwich on sour dough bread it was very blah, the soup was at lest good. And our waitress was kind of snotty. my husband did say the pickled herring was very good though as I don't eat it I have to take his word for it.

“Good Food, Great Service, and Excellent View”
Reviewed June 4, 2013

Wanted to experience some Swedish-style food while in Door County and this place fit the bill. Good food and good service. We went on a weekday and had an early dinner before the high season. The waitess wore a cute outfit and the decor gave a Swedish feeling. Beautiful view of the water while dining. Generous portions. Overall great dining experience.
