This is the first dog park in Northern Door County. It has been wildly successful. Whole social groups have arisen from visits here. I have even seen folk here with their dogs in deep snow in the winter! It is a great place for your dog to have a good run and play with other dogs and for you to meet some really interesting people. Sadly, my dog is afraid of otheer dogs, so we don't get to go!

Stocked with balls and toys, bags for clean-up and thoughtfully, people even provide gallon jugs of water for use throughout the day, which is much appreciated.Big place; dogs can get a workout in a game of fetch.

We've visited this part before, but this time we had to leave because of some aggressive large dogs that were intent on badgering my Italian greyhound. She was outrunning them until the big greyhounds arrived, and unfortunately one of them had an overdeveloped prey drive and we were concerned he would hurt her, so we left. The Egg Harbor dog park has a separate small-dog area, and although it's a smaller park and on a hillside, it's probably where we will go in future, for our dog's safety. Kudos to Sister Bay for having a dog-park at all, but consider sectioning off a part for the safety of little ones.

...but I guess it is one! We always bring our dog here when vacationing with her in Door County. It's a little hidden off the main road, near Pheasant Park Resort. It's a fenced-in area maybe the size of several house lots, with a few trees and picnic tables. A local mentioned that most weekdays there's a group between 7 and 9 a.m. Not too scenic but our pooch didn't care. We had fun!

This is a cheerful place; on a Saturday morning there can be a dozen or more dogs and owners romping about. Other times you and your dog may be alone. Totally fenced in, trees and shelter, bathroom facilities. Well maintained and beloved. The dogs' tails wag as soon as they turn the corner.
