Steaks were awesome, scallops were great and the popovers were a really unique touch. I've been to a number of really good restaurants including Ruths Chris, Del friscos among others and Chop does rate up there with them. The owner is a riot. She was extremely personable. The atmosphere was really nice too. Mushroom bisque was a little thick and "grainy". I would have liked it a little creamier but that is a minor detail. Oh yeah, Chop claims the best carrot cake you'll have. I will say that it was in fact probably the best I've had. And, the flourless chocolate cake rated up there with some of the best i've had also.
