“Nice view, good food”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed November 15, 2008

While we loved the view, we found the food small in portion and a little too heavily seasoned. It was almost as if they thought that the entrees wouldn't taste good without lots of covering sauces/seasonings. We tend to like simple fresh fish, steaks with delicate tastes. Good choice of appetizers, we loved the fish appetizer!

“Wonderful Meal”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 29, 2008

On my annual trek with my parents to Door County, we left our hotel and headed toward Sister Bay unsure as to where we would have dinner. We had enjoyed Mission Grille last year but wanted to try something different. I had read the positive reviews of the Waterfront and intended to go there, however parking was an issue (no handicapped spot available) so we ended up at the Inn at Kristopher's and were not disappointed. All three of us had the same meal. We started with a salad which had dried cranberries, blue cheese, and sugared walnuts on greens with a balsamic vinaigrette dressing which was delicious. For our entrees we had whitefish which was breaded with panko crumbs and sauteed and served over asparagus risotto. The taste was as wonderful as the presentation. I observed other tables as dinners were served and saw entrees of salmon, rack of lamb, and filet mignon - all looked as beautiful as our whitefish. To make a fabulous meal even better, the view of the sun setting on the bay was the best dessert anyone could ask for. With a glass of wine each, salads, and entrees, the bill came to $130, slightly lower than our meal at Mission Grille, but every bit as satisfying.
