“Another must experience in DOOR COUNTY!”

A fun outside "watch the sunset" place for sandwiches! Very unique too-but can get the normal as well. They serve alcohol, so it's a nice place to kick back, enjoy a beer, and watch the water, and the boats, and the sun.

“Lovely Door County”
Reviewed August 6, 2009

We were in Door Co for 4 days, most of which had been breezy and cool. Our last afternoon was gorgeous. So, instead of eating inside we opted for Fred and Fuzzy's on the water. Words can not describe the beauty of this setting. Imagine sitting under tall trees on a grassy tiered lake front. Speakers attached to the trees pipe in music at just the right noise level. Compared to some noisy restaurants these days, I would say it felt hushed. The late evening sun was warm enough to make the breeze refreshing. Like other reviewers before me noted, the food was fine.

“nice but no desire to return”
Reviewed July 8, 2009

Advertisements made it sound like a fun place on the water. It's located in a private resort area. We were on motorcycles. As soon as we turned them off we felt like we were too loud. We opted to sit outside, under the pine trees and facing the boat dock/water. An older crowd 9and we are 40's). Seemed to be a few people named perhaps "Buffy" or "Ellington".

Drinks served in plastic cups. Chairs were plastic. Since we were basically sitting in the woods I asked if dogs could sit out there. I got a quick "Absolutely Not!" I asked what if they came by boat. Was told they could not even step on the dock (which was no where near restaurant or bar.

While pretty, seemed old money and stuffy.

“Wonderful Views Make it Worth the Wait”
Reviewed July 6, 2009

We arrived at Fred & Fuzzy's around 2:00 p.m. on a Friday afternoon. We were told there would be around a 30 minute wait. We were also told where the bar was and that there were plenty of chairs to wait in while we waited for our table.

I went down to the pier and grabbed two chairs and my boyfriend went to the bar. Relaxing on a pier with a cherry margarita hardly felt ilke waiting for a table at a restaurant.

The ambiance here is great. It's busy, but right on the water.

I ordered the chicken caesar wrap and my boyfriend ordered the perchwich sandwich. Both were yummy. The only downfall about the food is that it costs $2.25 to replace your bag of chips with a handful of fries.

“Amazing view by the water”
Reviewed July 2, 2009

The best thing about Fred and Fuzzy's Waterfront Bar & Grill is the view by the water. The food is simple; the prices are reasonable; and the surroundings are gorgeous. Eating outside is not elegant (very simple), you have to deal with a few bees and slight chill if the sun isn't shining ... seated at plastic tables and chairs. But sitting near the water makes the dining experience pleasant.
