“great waterfront location”
Reviewed August 21, 2013

this is definitely off the beaten path, but worth the find. Peaceful waterside table and chairs, great menu, and prices.

“Perfect Stop at Sunset”
Reviewed August 21, 2013

This is a great place to stop for a cherry margarita on the rocks at sunset. A crowd gathers on the beach and watches the sunset. The drinks are reasonable considering the view. It gets quite crowded so be prepared to allow sufficient time for parking and walking to the area. Also, there is an area that serves food outside. Friendly but busy service.

“Just Okay”
Reviewed August 21, 2013

This is a definite tourist trap with a great location. Thought we would stop by one afternoon while on vacation and it was just okay. The prices seemed high for an eatery that is all outside dining on the side of a hill. But I guess you are paying for a seat with a view.

“Great atmosphere, food is okay”
Reviewed August 14, 2013

If you are looking for a culinary experience this isn't the place. However, by car or boat you are looking for a little slice of Door County beauty and to see and be seen, this is the place. After a couple of excellent cherry margaritas, the food is just to keep you upright.

“Lovely setting, average food”
Reviewed August 12, 2013

This is a totally outside restaurant on the banks of Sister bay - a lovely setting. The seating is plastic tables and chairs on not too even terrain. The tables are crowded into a small place along the water. We went with a family group of 9 which included 2 small children.the wait was not too long for a table, but we went early. The food came relatively quickly. The servers were pleasant. The food was very mediocre. The perch and haddock on the fish fry menu were indistinguishable from each other and tiny slivers. Go for the setting and have a fun time at the outdoor bar. Skip the food.
