We used to eat at Ichiban in downtown Milwaukee, but they closed. So, we tried this place. It is terrific.
I've visited four times now, and each time is better than before. While they offer curries and foods other than sushi and sashimi, we prefer to stick with the raw options.
There are two waitresses. One speaks more English than the other, but each time the lady, who spoke little English on our first visit, speaks more and more English.
There are specials each day. Today it was a cooked mussel dish. Our waitress says that it is only offered at lunch on slow days because it took a long time to prepare.
The way the food is plated is absolutely beautiful. The sushi and sashimi lunches are good buys.
