“A Sheboygan Tradition”
Reviewed April 27, 2012

Burgers dripping with butter on hardrolls. Once you've had one, it's hard to imagine it any other way.

“Best (Real) charcoal grilled food!!”
Reviewed April 26, 2012

Great steak sandwiches, hamburgers. Wide variety of sandwiches and plate lunches. Good portions. The Lake Perch on Fridays is the BEST in the state!! Nice light golden breading on nice FAT Lake Perch. Yummmmmmm!!!! Their coffee is also some of the best I've had ANYWHERE! Really good prices too. The place is small, but I love it because it's really warm and homey!

Great, buttery burgers but not your pic if looking for atmosphere. Good shakes and onion rings too

Friendly service -- staff knows people by name. Great value-- especially Friday night perch dinners.

“Best Greasy Spoon in Sheboygan”
Reviewed January 31, 2012

When you go to Charcoal Inn, you can't expect five-star, high-class dining with fancy high-end service. This is a working class diner in a working class neighborhood, and they serve up working class food -- the most DELICIOUS burgers, onion rings, malts, and soups in town. This is the kind of place where your food will be served in a cardboard boat and your plastic drinking glass will have been through the dishwasher so many times it's turned cloudy. But that's what greasy spoons are like. This is the best of the best in that category of dining. Keep it up!!!
