Excellent food and drinks! Plus Wollersheim Winery was close by where we purchased some great wines and did the winery tour.

“Great food reasonable prices”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 24, 2012

My wife and I spent the weekend of July 21, 2012 in the Baraboo area. We hadn't been there in a number of years so we were somewhat dependent on the Internet and locals for recommendations on where to eat. When I checked out the website for the Green Acres restaurant I was pleased to see that the photos of various entries appeared to be the real thing rather than the sort of stock photos that you typically see on websites and menus. I was also pleased by the prices. It seemed to me that this was probably your classic mid western super club; one that has been there forever and stayed in business by offering consistently good food for a good price. There is nothing pretentious about the place; no effort to provide exotic or trendy dishes. It was just your basic mid western fare, done extremely well. We will certainly visit there again when next we are in the area.
